A family farm based in Washington state

Lamont Lamb Company is a small family farm based in Silver Creek, Washington in a beautiful oasis of woods and green grass.

Carmen and Jack Barkley started Lamont Lamb Company in 2020 with a small flock of registered Suffolk sheep with NSIP (National Sheep Improvement Program) data. Carmen is a bit of a genetics nerd, so tracking breeding values and working to improve the quality of the flock is right up her alley. She also spent many, many years showing lambs at local fairs and hopes to help future generations of showmen and women find great lambs in the area.

They first brought their sheep to Carmen’s parent’s sheep farm in Lamont, WA – where her parents have raised Polypay sheep for more than 25 years. This is where the name Lamont Lamb Company originates; it’s a tie to Carmen’s roots.

However, in 2022 Carmen and Jack were able to purchase their own property in western Washington between Silver Creek and Mossyrock where they have moved their flock of sheep. At this point, their flock includes both registered Suffolk sheep as well as Suffolk/Hamp crosses perfect for local fairs.

What we offer

Carmen and Jack’s mission for Lamont Lamb Company is to provide high quality club lambs as well as registered Suffolk breeding stock. For Suffolk breeders, our sheep come with NSIP data, meaning you will know that you’re getting great breeding stock to help improve your flock.

We also offer whole and half lambs if you are interested in stocking your freezer with some fresh, humanely raised lamb meat! We usually have lamb available year round, as Carmen’s parents can provide Polypay cross lambs for butcher.
